Celebrating Simplicity

These maps are a personal gift I gave to my sister in-law. The quotes about each city are her own description of why she loved living in each place. I have made several other prints for friends and acquaintances featuring their own hometowns.

The design is inspired by Massimo Vignelli—the man responsible for the simplified design of the New York subway system and well-known for his use of Helvetica (the font used here).
